Shkila offers a range of oil pressure weighing solutions from the Italian VEI GROUP and was chosen to represent their advanced solutions in Israel. The company has several types of tailor-made solutions available that change depending upon customers’ needs including the required weighing capacity, the amount of information required, etc.

VEI’s weighing solutions enable continuous work and don’t require stopping to carry out weighing. The accuracy of an oil pressure weighing system is defined as ±1% of the loading capacity, regardless of the quantity loaded in the weighing unit itself. The accuracy starts at ±40 kg in the smallest system.

Description

VEI weighing solutions for front loaders are diverse and require customer customization (especially for the connectors of each front-loading model). The weighing solution in the conveyor is built of three parts:

1. The weighing system: These are two oil pressure probes that connect to the hydraulic system of the loader without affecting its normal operation.

2. Location tracker: Using the location tracker, the system detects that the scales have reached the right height to calculate the load placed on them. The installation of the location tracker is a critical part of the system’s proper operation.

3. Weighing head: The weighing head performs the mathematical calculations to measure the amount of weight on the scales. The weighing head also knows how to perform various calculations for cumulative weighing and more according to its level of sophistication (details below).

How It Works

  1. We gather the details of your use case and match a solution to you using the VEI-GROUP knowledge center.
  2. Once approved, the installation kit is ready and shipped to Israel.
  3. Representatives perform the installation (the installation can be carried out independently according to the instructions and the installation booklet).
  4. A weighing company technician calibrates the system.
  5. Initial training is carried out at the client’s site.
